Program Design Overview
Total Program Structure
5 modules
Independent Study ≤ 4 hours
Total pre-work time (approx. 30-45 minutes per module)
5 × 2-hour sessions
Live facilitated sessions
Learning emphasis: Application, practice, reflection, and real-world transfer
PCM is designed to provide conceptual grounding through concise readings and short videos, while live sessions prioritize doing the work by practicing conversations, working through scenarios, and translating concepts into day-to-day management behaviors.

By the end of PCM 2.0, participants will have:

Module 1
Foundations of Person-Centered Management
Friday, January 30
Purpose
Establish a shared understanding of what Person-Centered Management is, why it matters, and how it differs from traditional leadership models.
Learning Outcomes
Participants will be able to:
Articulate what PCM is and is not
Explain the rationale for managing to the whole person
Recognize how identity, power, and intersectionality shape workplace experiences
Identify personal management assumptions that may unintentionally limit inclusion

Understanding Cognitive Differences at Work
Friday, February 6
Purpose
Build practical awareness of cognitive diversity and how it impacts communication, performance, and collaboration.
Learning Outcomes
Participants will be able to:
Describe common cognitive differences encountered in workplaces
Identify how learning styles, working memory, and sensory processing affect work
Demonstrate allyship behaviors that support neuroinclusive teams
Recognize systemic barriers that disadvantage certain cognitive styles

Regulation, Burnout, and Authenticity
Friday, February 13
Purpose
Help managers understand emotional regulation, burnout, and the hidden costs of masking, camouflaging, and code-switching.
Learning Outcomes
Participants will be able to:
Distinguish burnout from disengagement or poor performance
Recognize signs of emotional dysregulation in themselves and others
Understand masking and code-switching as adaptive but costly strategies
Apply positive psychology concepts to support sustainable wellbeing

Translate PCM principles into consistent, observable management behaviors.
