Foundations of Person-Centered Management
Friday, January 30
Purpose
Establish a shared understanding of what Person-Centered Management is, why it matters, and how it differs from traditional leadership models.
Learning Outcomes
Participants will be able to:
Articulate what PCM is and is not
Explain the rationale for managing to the whole person
Recognize how identity, power, and intersectionality shape workplace experiences
Identify personal management assumptions that may unintentionally limit inclusion

Understanding Cognitive Differences at Work

Purpose
Build practical awareness of cognitive diversity and how it impacts communication, performance, and collaboration.

Participants will be able to:
Describe common cognitive differences encountered in workplaces
Identify how learning styles, working memory, and sensory processing affect work
Demonstrate allyship behaviors that support neuroinclusive teams
Recognize systemic barriers that disadvantage certain cognitive styles

Help managers understand emotional regulation, burnout, and the hidden costs of masking and camouflaging.
